Dr. Watson's Neglected Patients hosts a number of activities and events throughout the year.
These include lectures, dinners, teas, and films.
The primary event of the Neglected Patients is the annual Sherlock Holmes Birthday
Banquet, which is held in January, the accepted month of Sherlock Holmes' birth. The birthday
banquet features guest speakers and other entertainment, toasts to Queen Victoria,
Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mrs Hudson, Professor Moriarity and
other Sherlockian personalities, and an auction of Sherlock Holmes books and memorabilia.
Other annual events include Dr. Watson's tea in the spring, Guy Fawkes night in November and the
Fall Lecture series.
